Aftermath of the Fire: What Can I Do to Help?

We in Downtown Statesville are so fortunate to have a community that rallies around in time of need.  Our tagline says it all: IT COMES TOGETHER DOWNTOWN. In the recent days, WE come together Downtown.  Many are asking what they can do in the wake of the April 25th fire that destroyed 3 buildings in Downtown Statesville and damaged others, here is a list of current opportunities.  Check back often as the list will be updated as new ways to support our Downtown arise.  

• The Mercantile on Broad will donate 15% of its sales on Friday, April 28, from 12pm to 6pm to GG's Art Frames Gifts.
• Donate to the GoFundMe for Theatre Statesville, set up by supporters of the non-profit.
• Buy tickets to one of this weekend's showings of Aladdin Jr. by Theatre Statesville, taking place at Cornerstone Christian Academy.
• Book an escape room adventure at Key to Escape.  10% of all bookings for this weekend (April 27 & 28) will be donated toward helping businesses affected by the fire.  Bookings must be made on their website.
• Send any recent interior photos of GG''s that you have to them via their Facebook Page. This will help them determine their inventory as they currently cannot access the interior of their building.
