The Downtown Sykesville Connection (DSC) is seeking a Farmers Market Manager to oversee the vibrant Sykesville Farmers Market. This is your opportunity to lead one of the town's most cherished community initiatives, helping to connect local vendors, residents, and visitors in a dynamic and engaging environment.

Position Details:

• Location: Sykesville Farmers Market, Downtown Sykesville
• Hours: Sundays, 8 AM to 2 PM and additional weekly hours for preparation (5 to 8).
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate market operations, including vendor placement, setup, and activities.
  • Manage social media promotions for the market.
  • Engage with vendors, sponsors, and the community to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Supervise volunteers, organize kids' activities, and ensure smooth event execution.
  • Provide post-event reports and maintain market equipment and materials.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in event coordination or market supervision is a plus.
