Meet Our New Sykesville Farmers Market Manager!

Mary Boswell is a lifelong Sykesville resident and soon-to-be freshman at the University of Maryland (UMD) at College Park. In addition to spinning crepes at the French Twist, where she has worked for the last two years, she is excited to take on the exciting challenge of managing the Sykesville Farmers Market as part of the Downtown Sykesville Connection! Her passion for local farming started early when she got heavily involved in the Howard County 4-H program. She has been active in the Century High School (CHS) Chapter of the Future Farmers of America (FFA), and she is currently completing the agriculture track at CHS STEM Academy. At UMD, she plans to study Agricultural & Resource Economics and looks forward to bringing some of that formal education to the Sykesville Farmers Market and community experience.
