Iredell County Announces the Promotion of Caroline Taylor to Finance Director

Iredell County is pleased to announce that Caroline Taylor has been selected to serve as the new Finance Director effective October 17, 2024. Mrs. Taylor brings to the role 14 years of progressive service to Iredell County.

She earned a bachelor’s degree from UNC Chapel Hill in Mathematics and received her Local Government Finance Officer’s Certification in 2021. She began her career in the Iredell County Health Department and has most recently served as the Iredell County Assistant Finance Director.

“I’m honored to be selected as the next Finance Director and am fortunate to have the opportunity to serve the citizens of Iredell County,” said Taylor. “I enjoy working with the dedicated staff across county agencies and am excited to continue the high standards established by the Finance Department.”
