2nd Saturday in May - Celebrate Manchester

Please see this invitation below from WORK_SPACE. We would love to see some of our downtown businesses participate!

You’re invited to join our Special 2nd Saturday events in May!

On the 2nd Saturday of every month WORK_SPACE is open for visitors to view art, peruse our Gallery Shop and tour our coworking and meeting spaces. On 2nd Saturday’s during spring and summer months and for special holiday celebrations, the Downtown District often hosts a community program, and the Firestone Art Studio and Café hosts an artisan vendor fair – all of which attracts additional visitors to Main Street.

In honor of Manchester’s Bicentennial, we are collaborating to draw even more traffic Downtown for the 2nd Saturday of May (May 13th). We have arranged for an open-air trolley to circle the area from the Historical Society to the Lutz Children’s Museum to WORK_SPACE and on to the Library (and maybe all the way to Center Springs Park.) We are hoping that other businesses and organizations will join us to plan something special.

The goal is to create printed and online promotions that illustrate the route of the trolley (which has not been finalized) and all the fabulous places worth visiting. If you’d like to participate and be included on the map, please send me your contact information, a description of your offerings (such as special bicentennial discounts or products, entertainment, etc.) and the times you’ll be offering them (the trolley runs from 10a-4p.)

We appreciate our partnership with the Downtown Special Services District, the Bicentennial planning committee and Imagine Main Street which will be coordinating musicians at some of the trolley stops.

Warm regards,

Stacey
