Manchester Business Investment Fund Grant Program (Learn More)
The goal of this fund is to financially assist small business projects in Manchester that address code, access, energy efficiency, or sustainability improvements and promote enhanced use of underutilized space to add jobs, value, and economic vitality. Leasehold improvements intended to attract a transformative use to a vacant space are also eligible for this program
Reimbursable Matching Grants Applications will be accepted until July 1, 2024. Reimbursable Matching Grants of between $10,000 to $20,000 with a minimum owner investment required.
Eligible businesses are:
- independently owned and operated.
- able to demonstrate negative impact from COVID-19 pandemic.
Ideal applicants advance mission by:
- improving long-term viability of the property.
- respecting historic building facades.
- attracting transformative uses.
Business Facade & Signage Improvement Grant Program (Learn More)
The Town of Manchester is launching a reimbursement grant program to strengthen small businesses, stimulate reinvestment in commercial buildings and promote local economic development. Grants are now available to improve the exterior appearance of commercial and mixed-use buildings, including signage. This program is made possible by funds from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), also known as Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF).
Reimbursable Matching Grant Applications will be accepted until July 1, 2024. This program covers exterior repair & renovation assistance up to $10,000 on commercial storefronts & facades.
Eligible businesses are:
- independently owned/operated for 10+ years.
- located on major road.
- able to demonstrate negative financial impact from COVID-19 pandemic.
