Halloween in Downtown Hillsboro was a BLAST!

October 31, 2022

We really hope you were able to make it to Halloween in Downtown Hillsboro this year because it was SO MUCH FUN! So many Downtown Hillsboro businesses welcomed trick-or-treaters with candy, costumes, and festive decorations.

Bach to Rock kept the energy up with great dance jams and the Hillsboro Dance Center students performed to classic Halloween tunes in the middle of everything. The Washington Democrats office hosted a haunted house. HART Theater worked with local school kids to paint the backdrops for two photo booths and the Health Science Club from Century High School invited trick-or-treaters to Halloween themed crafts. Sequoia Art Gallery and Colours Art supply came together to offer free face painting. A local car group called Puros Locos drove up styling in classic low-riders while two Downtown churches decorated their trunks in classic trunk-or-treat style.

Between the candy and the activities, the public really brought on the fun with some AMAZING COSTUMES! A family of cows! A mom, dad, daughter combo as unicorns, Aliens, wizards, movie characters, OH MY! Hillsboro Downtown Partnership estimates a over 4,000 people in were in attendance and the fun could not have happened without our wonderful participants, volunteers and the Hillsboro community.
