Meet Rong Wang
"The Watchman" is hosted by professional Artist, Rong Wang! Rong Wang is an internationally trained Artist who’s well-known in Asia. She has received many awards for her artwork to include the best in show watercolor at the Asia Pacific Art Show in 2016. Rong recently relocated to West Virginia from California. She wants to use Chinese ink to paint the nature of West Virginia and show people its different beauty of it. Meet Rong at "The Watchman" silent auction charity event on Jan. 5th at the RenewAll Inc. building on 14STW! Bidding begins at 5:30PM and ends at 7:00PM. Hope to see you there!
Rong says "The Watchman" was inspired by her new home in West Virginia. "I have prepared the Watchman series of ten works for this event inspired by my new home in West Virginia," Rong said. "I moved from Los Angeles, CA, to pursue a wonderful dream. The yard of the new house is beautiful, with bright sun and moonlight, and I have become enchanted by the visiting deer. The deer is a guardian, strong, alert, and agile by nature, making us feel safe and calm. The Watchman series honors the symbolism of this animal protector with gratitude for bringing us a wonderful day with family. I look forward to meeting you at the exhibit."
