Bring your leftover holiday materials to Central City!

While waiting for my usual coffee and bagel order at Cicada, I noticed a trashcan requesting donations for leftover holiday materials! With no surprise, the Huntington's Children's Museum is at it again with another awesome event!

The Huntington Children's Museum is asking for any of your leftover holiday materials for the Scrap Bash! The Scrap Art Bash will be held at St. Cloud's Commons Lodge Jan. 28th from 10AM-12PM! Children are invited to turn trash into treasure. This FREE event is an opportunity for children of all ages to be creative and make their own art from scraps such as wrapping paper, paper towel rolls, stickers, ribbons, twine, buttons, tissue paper, colored paper, cardboard, yarn, etc. This event is one of many events to introduce the community to the Huntington Children's Museum, which will be opening in the near future in the old Shoney's building.

If you have any questions about this event, please email Suzi Brodof at Suzibrodof@gmail.com or Mary Jo Graham at mjgraham@zoominternet.net.
If you have leftover holiday materials, paper towel rolls, wrapper rolls, bows, ribbon, paper, boxes, tape, craft supplies, or plastic bottles to donate, please leave the items at one of the drop-off locations listed below. Thanks for your support!
