The Village Market Fair on 14STW Created a Spiritual and Artistic Gathering Sept. 2022

Art, Antiques and More!

This year the Village Market Fair, the monthly outdoor event here on 14STW, brought vendors and creators to 14STW. As the street prepares for fall, this is the last Third Saturday Market Fair of the year. With a variety of vendors, the September Market Fair was a successful way to end the year!

“We ended the 2022 Third Saturday’s Market Fair season on a high note," said Market Fair organizer, Denise Poole. "I appreciate everyone who has participated this year, and those who have supported our efforts. I’m looking forward to the 2023 season, and welcoming back our regular vendors. I would like to invite any other local artists, small businesses, antique dealers, musicians, theologians, filmmakers to contact us as we have exciting plans in the works going forward!"

New Vendors in September

This month we saw some returning vendors such as Jewelry by Jade, Efi's Embroidery, and Kathryn Thomspon with her artwork. The final Market Fair festival brought new vendors such as Hot House Rocks (pictured left), who gave some expertise on various crystals and gems and set up with Taleulah Scott as Rock-n-Reiki, offering reiki sessions and chakra alignment. Keeping in the spiritual realm, Natural Healing Massage was also a new setup at the Market Fair, where they offered massage chair massages!

Yummy Baked Goods

This September pop-up fest brought out your favorite local bakeries and eateries such as Lez Bake (pictured right), and Sweet Bee Gardens! Taking on a new adventure with the Village Market Fair, Lez Bake set up selling their delicious baked good. Not all the goodies were sweet, Lez Bake also offered a yummy vegan pepperoni roll!

Sweet Bee Gardens is no stranger to 14STW. You can sometimes find them set up at the Central City Market (Farmer's Market)! Farming from Greenup Kentucky, Sweet Bee offers honey, jams, pepperoni rolls, sweet bread/loaves, cookies, and more! Check out the gallery below to see the wide variety of plants and herbs they have to offer!

More to come to 14STW!

Keyamo Onoge has been a key player for almost every Market Fair this year! Playing his guitar and singing, and selling his antique collectibles, Keyamo has been an amazing volunteer, vendor, and musician for these pop-up festivals! Since this was the last Market Fair, Keyamo wanted to say that he loved "working with our local community and local talent."

Keep watch for more events as fall and winter approach! Catch some of our Market Fair vendors at our "All Hallows Eve" Central City event on Oct. 29th here on 14STW! Contact Denise if you would like to include your creativity in any of our upcoming events at renewdenise39@gmail.com.
