The Wild Ramp launches Online Food Hub: An Online Local Food Market

The Wild Ramp has recently expanded its market and access to local food by creating an Online Food Hub! Customers can purchase their favorite store products within the Online Food Hub, such as meat, produce, honey, coffee, and other local goods. 

 In an article written in the Herald-Dispatch, Devyn Messenger, online manager, said, "The Online Food Hub is a new program that connects our brick-and-mortar market to an online marketplace. We are currently partnering with over 20 farmers, artisans and producers for the food hub." 

Messenger started her journey at The Wild Ramp as a Market Sales Associate, according to The Wild Ramp's website. She now leads the efforts of the Online Food Hub as the Online Food Hub Manager.

With this new online shopping marketplace, you can now enjoy shopping from The Wild Ramp in the comfort of your home! Located at near The Wild Ramp at 518 14STW, quickly pick up your online orders at the Online Food Hub Tuesday-Saturday from 9am-5pm. Customers can begin ordering online at www.wildramp.org and can call  (681) 888-5768 during hours of operation for questions, orders, or assistance.

Remember back in July when Shelly Keeney, The Wild Ramp Manager, said there was definitely more to expect from The Wild Ramp as they hit their 10-year Anniversary? Well, Keeney has definitely proved that the local market is taking a new direction to get local food into the hands of the community. In a recent Facebook Post, the Wild Ramp announced that they are not stopping at just the creation of The Online Food Hub. 

"Last week we officially launched our new Online Food Ordering system," stated The Wild Ramp in their post, "but what we haven't announced is that The Wild Ramp was 1 of 134 grantee recipients of the Reinvestment Fund Healthy Food Financing Initiative Grant Program. We were awarded $154,810 to expand the Online Food Hub through a delivery option that includes the purchase of a Delivery Van and other necessary supplies. We will also be working with neighborhood organizations to identify food access needs and delivery locations."

The Wild Ramp's retail market is open seven days a week 9am-6pm (Sat: 9am-5pm and Sun: 10am-4pm) and located at 555 14STW.
