Leah and Ellie Kinghorn @ West Arts Fest

Leah Kinghorn is a local artist from Huntington, WV, who creates amazing sticker art. She said her love for creating was inspired by her grandparents. “They were printers, upholsterers, artists, and wonderful seamstresses,” she said. “I was instilled with a sense that I could try anything and to never stop learning. I stumbled upon sticker art and haven’t looked back. It’s a joy to see my art out in the wild on people cars, water bottles, and tech.” She said overall, stickers make people smile, which is one reason why this is her passion. She hopes to be able to grow into wholesale and to be found in shops across West Virginia. Her business can be found on Facebook @wildinkberry or www.wildinkberry.com. Find her during the event with her daughter Ellie.

Leah said her daughter Ellie was “born to be an artist.” Right now she prefers colored-pencil art and digital art, but she has began to explore paint. She is known for her acute attention to detail. This young, local artist is just a sophomore at Cabell Midland High School. After she graduates she hopes to pursue animation or book illustration.
