Mastering the Art of Pruning Young Trees

Join us at an upcoming workshop beginning at Stone Creek Park (Pavilions), 3625 Spoto Drive, on Saturday, February 8 from 10 AM - 1 PM to learn the art and science of pruning young trees. The workshop will take place outside and begin with a classroom-style presentation at Stone Creek Park before you put your skills to the test by pruning trees at a recent tree planting site nearby.

In this workshop you will learn the goals of young tree pruning, the proper equipment it takes for the job, and how and where to make proper pruning cuts to maintain the health, safety, vigor, and appearance of your young trees.

The workshop is free and attendees will also receive a FREE pair of bypass pruners.
