Job Title: Cheese Maker

Position Description: This team member assists in cheese making, aging, inventory management, and packaging. They are involved in every step of the cheese and ice cream production process and are encouraged to develop unique cheese and ice cream flavors that become fan favorites throughout the Walla Walla Valley.

In addition to a passion for locally produced dairy products, candidates must also:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to detail
  • Place a premium on cleanliness, sanitation and quality.
  • Be a self-starter
  • Work well with other team members
  • Place high importance on Food Safety
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Work extended periods, while on their feet
  • Demonstrate organization skills

Experience in the food service industry is a plus.

Hours: 40 Hours per week with some flexibility available.

Compensation: Hourly, DOE

Location: This position is located in Milton-Freewater, Oregon, in the heart of the Walla Walla Valley wine region and at the base of the Blue Mountains. 
In addition to wine and a myriad of other spirits, our valley is known for world-class restaurants, shopping, and outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing.

Seattle, Boise, and Portland are only about 4 hours away, and we have an airport in Walla Walla with convenient connections to Seattle.
