Main Street Murfreesboro Saturday Market - July 1st Newsletter

FUN AT THE MARKET JULY 1

Shane, the Balloon Artist, will be making his fabulous balloon art creations for kids again this week. Sophie Buck will be back on the square entertaining everyone with her fiddle-playing. We appreciate the local musicians who bring live music to the market. The musicians and balloon artists work for tips only, so please show your appreciation. And if you get hot, the Kona Ice Truck will be on hand with cool treats.

THIS WEEK AT THE MARKET

All your favorites for a July 4th cookout are available at the Saturday Market. Fresh peaches, locally grown tomatoes, squash, peppers, corn, and summer veggies are ready. Grilling? Check out our meat vendors for the best grilling options you'll find anywhere. We have you covered for desserts: cakes, pies, breads, cookies, cupcakes, and burger buns. We have BBQ rubs and sauces, pimento cheese, chicken salad, and cheese dips. Join us on the square Saturday from 8-Noon.

DID YOU KNOW?

Our vendors offer original art (The Redheaded Potter); unique dried flower bouquets(McIntosh Flowers); handpainted signs (Jim and Wilma), life-sized metal creations (Tadpole Creek); copper water fountains (TED), handcrafted bow ties and bows for kids (Benton BroTies); handmade soaps (Scent of the Sun); and crocheted toys (Fernando & James). Support these local artisans at the Saturday Market this week.

MEET ELIZA-OUR MARKET INTERN

Hi everyone! My name is Eliza Farley, and I am the Main Street Murfreesboro Saturday Market Intern. I graduated from Siegel High School in 2020, and am a rising Senior at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. I’m happy to be working with Main Street Murfreesboro and learning about the world of non-profits. I’ve always enjoyed attending Main Street events and seeing their positive effects on the community. I hope to see you at the next Market at the Main Street information tent.
