Saturday Market Newsletter October 19

Do you know about the extras at the market?

"Make us your downtown destination for fresh, local, and wonderful.

Produce, flowers, meats, and bakery delights are the mainstay of the market, but our Saturday Market vendors keep adding new products and coming up with innovative ways to use what they grow and produce. Erin and Tara are sisters who, with their brother Sean, founded McIntosh Field and Flower. In addition to their fresh flower bouquets and dried flowers, this year they added flower salt, flower pepper, and flower sugars. Stop by their booth this week and ask them about these new products.
If you are interested in natural, herbal-based tinctures, salves, and lotions, Barefoot Acres Herbs (Tricia), Belle Fleur Farm (Kelsey), and Green Garden Soap and Bath (Shanti) have a wide range of products and are happy to tell you about them.  We have some very knowledgeable herbalists and herbal enthusiasts at the market. One of the perks of shopping at a farmers' market is talking with the producers, growers, and artisans. Their enthusiasm is contagious!

See you on the square Saturday morning from 8-noon for the market. The market is open through October 26. You have two more weeks to enjoy the market.
