Taste of Rutherford fundraiser a huge success!

Main Street Murfreesboro thanks all who participated in the Taste of Rutherford fundraiser.

Taste of Rutherford is Main Street Murfreesboro's annual fundraiser, held on July 13 on the grounds of Oakland's Mansion.  This sold-out event boasted 20 restaurants from Murfreesboro and Smyrna treating over 300 attendees with tastings and sweet treats.  This fundraiser helps Main Street Murfreesboro meet budget goals for the year and provides support to several downtown projects including Downtown Property Enhancement grants, community concerts, and marketing support for small business owners in the historic downtown business district.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make T.O.R. a success!

Restaurant tastings make this unique Summer Party a hit.

Participating restaurants: Puckett's Grocery, Marina's on the Square, The Hot Dog Guy, Simply Pure Sweets, Slick Pig BBQ and Jo Jo's Fruit Tea, Chick-Fil-A, Andy's Frozen Custard, The Alley on Main, TNCraft Butcher, Jim-N-Nicks, Tasty Table, Five Senses, Steak House FiveBoro Kabob, Jo's Custom Cakes, Chutney Indian Restaurant, The Soda Bar (by Van Horn Cookies), and Blaze Pizza.  VIP Area sponsored by Chuy's Restaurant and Julie's Bartending. In-Kind donations for the event make it so much more beautiful.

Special thanks to Murfreesboro Flower Shop for donating the beautiful flower arrangements for our tables and centerpieces.  Also, new to T.O.R. this year was DWK Event Co.  The ladies behind this creative small business in Murfreesboro provide decor, balloon arches, and designs to make every event look its best.  Murfreesboro Wine and Spirits once again donated the wine and Uncle Nearest provided their whisky for all to enjoy.  Main Street Murfreesboro is thankful for the community support through this annual fundraising event!
