Saturday Market Newsletter Sept. 28

Market Cancelled for September 28

"Make us your downtown destination for fresh, local, and wonderful."

The Murfreesboro Saturday Market prides itself on staying open rain or shine, but when a hurricane was thrown in the mix, we made the choice to close on Saturday. We talked with vendors, and they weighed in on the decision. Safety of our vendors and of our customers is a priority.

We will be open the entire month of October, with more of everything. Fall produce is coming in. Pumpkins are already making an appearance, and we have some of the freshest mums around. It's a great time to stock up on fresh meat for the winter. Join us for the four market weeks in October, and keep friends and neighbors in mind as the rain and wind from Hurricane Helene head our way. And, thank you all for your support of our farmers' market.

See you on the square Saturday morning from 8-noon for the market.

Buy Fall Market Mums

Two of our farm vendors are selling potted mums. Check out Southland Farms and Triple A Farms next week for selections of fresh mums.

We have already seen pumpkins--large, small, stacked, and colorful. There are even crocheted pumpkins for tabletops. Celebrate fall at the market starting October 5.
