Reflecting on 2024

Our 2024 Year

What an incredible year 2024 has been for Main Street McMinnville! Thanks to the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of our community, we’ve made significant strides in revitalizing and celebrating our downtown.

From the start of the year, Main Street LIVE brought eight weeks of free concerts, filling downtown with music and energy. With the overwhelming support of our sponsors and community, we raised funds that will directly reinvest into downtown projects. Second Saturdays continued to highlight our local shops and restaurants, creating a lively atmosphere for all to enjoy!

Our Farm to Table Dinner was a shining example of community spirit, raising $8,000 to help match funds for $42,000 in upcoming streetscape improvements scheduled for 2025. These improvements will bring new benches, trash cans, picnic tables, and downtown signage, further enhancing the beauty and functionality of our historic district. Businesses like The Butcher on MainJuicy’s Wellness Café generously donated their time and food. Downtown Restaurants Owners of  Collins River BBQ, Oh Sugar, The Vanilla Bean Baking Co. and Begonias Restaurant generously donated their time, and talents, showcasing the best of Warren County’s agriculture and culinary scene.

We also hosted over 2,000 kids for a safe and festive Downtown Trick or Treat, and our Pioneer Pep Rally & Homecoming Parade filled Main Street with school pride and local spirit.

This year, we’ve begun the transformation of our downtown, using the $300,000 Downtown Improvement Grant, secured last year, with the matching funds from property owners to fund exciting facade improvements to our business downtown. These improvements like windows, awnings, paint, brick work, and more  will help keep our historic downtown vibrant and welcoming for future generations.

The holiday season kicked off on November 30th with our Small Business Saturday and Flip the Switch event. The evening was filled with holiday shopping, carriage rides, pictures with Santa, crafts for kids, and the magical lighting of Main Street. This beloved tradition brought the spirit of the season to life in downtown McMinnville, creating cherished memories for our community and visitors alike.

Our new businesses, including The Local on Morford, Little Posie Boutique, The Hitch General Store, The Krafty Hut, Cookies by Brax, The Butcher on Main and Main Street Media are adding to the charm and diversity of our community. With the continued support of the McMinnville-Warren County Chamber of Commerce, the City of McMinnville, Warren County, and our Main Street volunteers, we’ve accomplished so much together.

As we look ahead, we’re proud of all we’ve achieved, and we’re excited for what’s to come. Main Street McMinnville is more than just a location—it’s a thriving community, and together, we’re making it a better place to live, work, and celebrate!

Cheers to a New Year!
