2023 Brick Street Bazaar in the Historic Red Brick District of Downtown Augusta, KS

2023 Brick Street Bazaar

The 2023 Brick Street Bazaar started off a little rocky with the Kansas Weather not wanting to cooperate.  As the vendors checked in and started setting up - the weather had other plans.  We knew there was going to be a chance for rain - but we had to have faith that it would be the normal Augusta rain trend - come in looking scary - and then decide to move all around us.  Luckily - it did.  We endured a few raindrops and a short period of some heavy wind - but per the norm - the scary stuff went away from us.  Vendors had a difficult time keeping their tents in place but with the kind help of friends - we kept them all from blowing away.  Literally 15 minutes later - the sun came out and the wind went away.  The rest of the day we enjoyed sunny skies with a light breeze - a perfect day for the bazaar!  The temperatures got quite warm in the afternoon - so the Go! Augusta staff walked around providing icy cold waters to our vendors- and ourselves!

Men and Vendor Events?

My husband is not fond of vendor events.  Why?  Well - first - he is voluntold to participate and help with all of the heavy lifting, setup, and tear down - BUT the main reason is the amount of shopping that I do!  There were so many fun vendors to check out!  I came home with WAY too much stuff!  A crocheted frog - lots of jewelry - a new keychain and so much more.  He was happy once again when I got him an amazingly delicious fry basket from Misfit Kitchen and the most refreshing Mango Iced Tea from Icy Trails.  The Bazaar is not just for the gals!  There was literally something for everyone.  We were set up beside Big Dad's Seasoning - which had some amazing spices and delicious samples!  A BBQ delight!  Then right down the way we had the Smoking Session had some amazing-smelling cigars.  The Cornhole tournament hosted by Sugar Shane's to benefit Tri-County Casa was the perfect way to show the skills of all of the backyard sportsmen!  If you missed out on this year's event - make sure to mark your calendars - the event will be held the 3rd Saturday in June - Right before Father's day!  So men - don't be afraid to come out- we will have something for you too!

"Thank you for today! Nature’s Art is so thankful to be a part of the Augusta community! ❤️🥰"Caitlin Linck

The Brick Street Bazaar is always a FREE event to attend!

The original goal of the Brick Street Bazaar was to bring our community back downtown to see all of the amazing new businesses that we have gotten in town.  In our 3rd year - we see so many community members and visitors from out of town - it is a truly amazing experience!  One of the best things about living in Augusta is the Community vibe!  We want to give our citizens fun things to do - as well as introduce our community to others!
