Fairmount CDC and North 5th St Corridor

A highlight of the month was our visit to Fairmount CDC and North 5th Street Revitalization Project, where we had the opportunity to visit AAPI businesses along Girard Ave and North 5th Street. We connect with Asian business owners and listen to understand their concerns and challenges. It is crucial in our mission to advocate for the growth and prosperity of small businesses in the region.

Venturing into the North 5th St corridor with the Korean American Chamber of Commerce Greater Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Asian American Law Enforcement Association, the City of Commerce, and the Philadelphia Police Department allowed us to meet with Korean-owned businesses. This collaborative effort aimed to address safety concerns and build stronger community ties.
