Makers Fair is set to Begin its Fourth Season this May!


The annual Makers Fair, organized and hosted by Village Antiques, a project of RenewAll Inc., is poised to begin its fourth season this Saturday, May 18th in the Village Antiques’ Activity Yard, located at 610 W. 14th Street, Huntington. The Maker’s Fair is a vibrant and exciting outdoor event that takes place every 3rd Saturday of the month from May to September at Village Antiques’ Activity Yard. The Maker’s Fair is a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and community. The Maker's Fair dates for 2024 are listed in the above graphic. 
Featuring over 20 local artists, the event is free and open to the public from 11 AM – 4:30 PM. Each Maker’s Fair allows artists and makers to connect with customers and sell their work in a growing business district. This weekend you can enjoy live music and local food along with the artist vendor booths makes for a day full of artistry and is sure to be interesting and fun!
Artists include Bronte Greenlees, Hannah Miller, Aubrianna Rose, Trevor Wayne, Brendan Pemberton, Brytton Jarrett, Natalie McCloud, Erica Upchurch, Tiffany Purvis, Nicole Clagg, Wendy Epling, Efi Gianna, Kylie Gilmore, Tara Allman, Barbara Davis, Jade Gun, Chrissy Davis, Kim Boley, Keyamo Onoge, Kathryn Thompson, and Marissa Horton. Live music by Keyamo Onoge and others will be offered throughout the day.

Handmade jewelry, paintings, prints, crochet works, books, crystals, hand-carved wooden items, embroidery pieces, upcycled items, steampunk-inspired work, and a variety of works will be well-represented this coming Saturday.

Kathryn Thompson (photographed below) has been involved in RenewAll's Maker's Fairs for four years. She said people should come to the Maker's Fair because it's always a great time. "It’s a great way to connect with other people and foster a sense of community in the neighborhood," she added.
