Looking Ahead to an Exciting Fall Season in Central City with RenewAll Inc.

As we wrap up a busy spring and the beginning of summer, RenewAll Inc is eagerly looking forward to an exciting fall season filled with events and new connections in Central City. Our calendar is brimming with activities that promise to engage and uplift our community. Here's a glimpse of what's coming up and a look ahead to the vibrant fall season we have planned.

Wrapping Up Summer with Exciting Events

Huntington's Forgotten Son" Event - July 16th

We are thrilled to cohost "Huntington's Forgotten Son" on July 16th, featuring Dr. Stefan Schoberlein, a former Marshall University professor. This event will spotlight the life and writings of modernist author and Huntington native Tom Kromer, affectionately known as Huntington's Forgotten Son. Dr. Schoberlein will delve into Kromer's legacy, shedding light on his contributions to literature and his connection to our community. Read more about the event today.

West Arts Fest - July 18th

Just a couple of days later, on July 18th from 4-7 PM, we will cohost the second annual West Arts Fest. This summer Art Walk, focused in the Central City District, will bring together local artists and businesses for an evening of late-night shopping, live music, and art displays. With recent sponsorship and involvement with Blenko Glass and due to the significant history of glass in Central City, our summer Art Walk theme this year is the Artistry of Glass in Central City. Beyond local pop-up art displays, shops will bring out their favorite hand-blown glass pieces and the Blenko Mobile Unit will be set up in Central City, giving participants an amazing glass-blowing experience. RenewAll takes pride in facilitating such free events, helping artists gain visibility and make a profit within our community. Village Antiques & Art will also host the Sunset Maker's Fair during West Arts Fest and expanding until 9PM.

Far Out Fest - Beginning in August

Our Far Out Fest returns this August 17th (check out the throwback photo above)! We will launch all the details for Far Out Fest, our annual 70s-themed event at Village Antiques. The community is invited to don their favorite 70s attire, shop vintage, and enjoy the Far Out Fashion Show. This event not only showcases our incredible art and antique vendors but also emphasizes creative sustainability, highlighting how buying vintage can support a healthy economic ecosystem.

Central City Fall Festival

RenewAll will also play a key role in the Central City Fall Festival, collaborating with Marshall Film students and professors to bring special activities to the event. This festival is set to be a hub of creativity and community engagement, offering something for everyone.

Mystic Movie Night

To cap off the fall season, we will host our annual Mystic Movie Night, featuring a special outdoor showing of "Practical Magic" at the Central City Gazebo. This beloved event promises a magical evening under the stars, bringing together families and friends for a memorable night (photo from 2023 Mystic Movie Night above).
