Susan Pepper Aisenberg received a degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts at Rhode Island School of Design in 1983. She has continued to paint ever since. Over time she has shown at several galleries  in Rhode Island, including a long-standing relationship with the Po Gallery in Providence. She has also shown at the Burnett Gallery at the Jones Library in Amherst, Massachusetts and in 2009 she was one of the first exhibitors at the Hall Gallery at the Jewish Community of Amherst. Two of her paintings hang permanently in the Social Hall.

Susan has always had a strong interest in biblical and spiritual themes as well as landscapes. Her paintings continue to evolve and change showing the meeting of light and sound, pattern and texture, and the paradox of time.
