Siddur Dedication
Dear JCA Community,
We are excited to share with you that, as a result of the growing size and spirit of our congregation, we have recently purchased 70 new siddurim (prayer books) to better accommodate our needs. With the increasing number of participants in our services, we often find ourselves running out of prayer books, and these new additions will help ensure everyone has the opportunity to join in prayer.
There is a tradition of dedicating siddurim in honor or in memory of a loved one, or to commemorate a simcha (joyful) milestone. We say of our loved ones “May their lives be remembered as a blessing”. When we hold these siddurim in our hands, we will be inspired by the words within them and seeing the names of our loved ones will be a blessing to us all.
To honor this tradition, we are offering members of the community the chance to make a donation to dedicate one of the siddurim. This is a beautiful way to celebrate a milestone or to remember a loved one, while also contributing to the spiritual life of our congregation.
If you would like to dedicate a siddur, please fill out this dedication form. We will acknowledge the dedication with a personalized plate inside the cover of the book.
Thank you for your continued support of our community. We are grateful to be able to share these moments of prayer together and look forward to seeing the new prayer books put to good use in our services.
