As part of the TRAX Creative District’s mission to transform downtown Columbus into a hub of artistic expression, the Sculpture & Mural Walk has emerged as a cornerstone of our community’s cultural landscape. This exciting initiative invites locals and visitors alike to explore the artistic treasures sprinkled throughout the TRAX Creative District and the Trackside District and beyond, offering an enriching experience that celebrates the creativity and diversity of our artists.

A Self-Guided Art Adventure

The Sculpture & Mural Walk is designed to be a self-guided tour, allowing participants to discover public art at their own pace. Featuring a diverse array of sculptures and murals from both local and national artists, each piece tells a unique story, reflecting the rich cultural heritage and forward-thinking vision of Columbus.

Engaging with Artists and the Community

The pieces displayed on the walk have been carefully curated to represent a variety of styles and themes, from abstract modern sculptures to vibrant, large-scale murals. Many of these installations were created in collaboration with area organizations while the sculptures are a part of SWAN (Sculpture Walk Across Nebraska).
