Join us for Building Bridges to a Brighter Tomorrow through Holiday Traditions, a heartwarming gathering where stories and traditions come together to create understanding and connection. This special event invites you to bring something that represents your family’s holiday tradition—whether it’s a cherished recipe, an ornament, or a meaningful story—and share a little about its importance.  All holidays around this time of year, whether religious or not, are fully welcome: Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, Chinese New Year, Three Kings Day, just to name a few!

Together, we’ll learn about the rich tapestry of holiday traditions from around the world. Speakers will guide us through the beauty of Kwanzaa, Yule/Winter Solstice, Hanukkah, and Polish Christmas traditions, sparking meaningful conversations and celebrating both our differences and shared humanity.

This is a safe, welcoming space where everyone is encouraged to connect, learn, and grow. Registration is just $5, with all proceeds covering light refreshments. Let’s make this season brighter by building bridges of understanding—one tradition at a time.

Building Bridges to a Brighter Tomorrow is a passionate, community-driven initiative dedicated to fostering kindness, love, and acceptance for all.Events in the series will happen every 4-6 weeks throughout Saline and will feature a different medium through which to experience cultural and personal experiences. Each gathering will happen at a different community location and will feature small group discussions that help us get to know each other better.Organizers will request a typical donation of $5 per person (subject to change pending material costs). The businesses who are hosting or providing food are doing so partly as a donation to the effort of Building Bridges in our community; please thank them and support them!
