A circus clown (Dominique Pinon) finds a new job as handyman in a mad butcher’s apartment building and falls in love with his daughter.

Director Jean-Pierre Jeunet (“Amelie”) created one of the quirkiest and most visually remarkable films you will ever see. Inside the post-apocalyptic tenement, a sweet Chaplinesque musical romance drives the plot to a watery crescendo.
