A note from interim Pastor: Pastor George Fry

Grace and peace to you in the name of God our Father and His Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ. It is a joy and blessing to worship with you for the next months. Dr. Bowser has told me how wonderful the Denton Church of the Nazarene is. My wife and I look forward to meeting and getting to know you. I want to encourage you to continue to be in prayer. First, for the members of the church board as they are involved with the search for a new pastor. Pray for their discernment and patience through this process. Second, even though we do not know who your new pastor will be, please pray for them and their family, as they will soon be discerning a call from God to serve this church. Finally, pray for Rev. Merritt and his family as they enter the next chapter of their lives. As we come to November and December, with Election Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, let us remember the word of those around the throne of God said as they fell to their knees and worshipped Him in Revelation 4:11: “Worthy are you, our Lord and God,     to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things,     and by your will they existed and were created.”
