Breakfast
For breakfast (the most important meal of the day) Main Street has a lot to offer.
Princess Restaurant is the ideal place to order some classic American breakfast and lunch; from omelets and pancakes, to BLTs and hot dogs, Princess has it all! They offer great prices and a comforting diner atmosphere.
If you’re looking for a latte, Clatter and Mountain City Coffeehouse & Creamery have got you covered! Mountain City offers a large selection of syrup flavors and vegetarian options; while Clatter has bagels and cortados to start your day right.
The newest addition to the Main Street breakfast restaurants is the Sun Up Cafe! The already beloved Sand Springs 2 Go has expanded past lunch and dinner takeout to sit-down breakfast as well. Their yummy steakhouse breakfast hits the spot.
Lunch
Not really into breakfast? No Problem!
There are plenty of restaurants in downtown Frostburg open from (roughly) 11am-9pm.
The Toasted Goat is located in the Gunter Hotel and provides a great atmosphere and locally made wine. You can also head down to the Speakeasy in the basement for a new late night menu.
To really embrace the mountain vibes here in Mountain Maryland, visit Sand Springs Saloon and Steakhouse. The western atmosphere and large menu are guaranteed to please. As it warms up be sure to sit outside--the view is beautiful.
If you’re more into take out and grabbing a quick bite Giannis is the place to be. They also have delectable wings. Down the street, Mario's Italian Eatery offers pizza as well as incredible pasta and salads.
For Japanese food like sushi, fried rice, or tempura, Shogun Japanese Steakhouse is perfect. Sit inside or carry out, it’s delicious either way.
Eastern Express offers lunch deals from 11am to 3pm. Get amazing Chinese food at a good price! Yamato Steakhouse’s menu is full of Japanese and Chinese inspired items as well as vegetarian options.

Is the casual bar scene of Mountain Maryland not cutting it? You should go to dinner at Giuseppe’s Italian Restaurant. The vibe is cozy but elevated. As the weather warms up make sure to take advantage of their outdoor seating. Their traditional Italian menu is full of delicious options.
Sweet Treats
Stop by both of the bakeries in Frostburg for mouth watering treats. Lorenzo’s Bakery is open from 5am-2pm from Wednesday to Saturday, and it is an essential stop. They make bread, cakes, donuts, eclairs, cookies, and a number of other tasty sweets. Baker Babes also offers a variety of goodies including cupcakes, cookies, danishes, and themed treats. They are open from Tuesday through Friday from 7am-2pm, with the exception of Wednesdays, when they close at 1:30.
Spring and Summer are right around the corner, and that means Frostburg Freeze’s opening is almost upon us!! The Freeze has been around for over 70 years and it’s obvious why. Not only is their soft serve to die for, but their food menu is also delicious after a long hike or bike ride.
