Producing/ Recording Studio in Folsom - His Eye is On the Sparrow

Among many things that we do at JJ Music Lessons recording and producing is one of them. If you are looking for a great recording space that is within budget, you've found it.

This is a folksy version of His Eye is on the Sparrow by Lauryn Hill and Tanya Blount . I play acoustic guitar, pedal steel and mandolin in this version. Just before my Ganny passed away she sang this song with me in my living room. I remember I played a C7 chord instead of the tradition Cm7 and she cringed! A memory I will never forget. She is now up in heaven with the Lord. Here are the lyrics- Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come, Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heav’n and home, When Jesus is my portion? My constant Friend is He: His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me; His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me. Refrain: I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free, For His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me. “Let not your heart be troubled,” His tender word I hear, And resting on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears; Though by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see; His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me; His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me. Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise, When songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies, I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free; His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me; His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
